Given the outlandish marketing approach we've seen from Yeezy GAP Engineered by Balenciaga so far, we all deep down knew what would come next would be equally as abnormal. After transforming GAP's Times Square store into the world's most intense jumble sale and then treating prospective buyers to a military-like display atop a car park roof, YGB is back, this time offering a nightmarish preview of what's to come.
Taking to Instagram, Yeezy displayed a total of eight images, with each offering a range of harrowing poses and distorted beings. This direction comes fresh from the mind of Betsy Johnson, a creative director and stylist known for showcasing alternative beauty standards.
While no information has been revealed regarding the styles featured, each piece offers a somewhat formless black silhouette reminiscent of bin bags found in each and every one of our homes. Naturally, branding is kept to a minimum, with select silhouettes only marked by subtle Yeezy GAP patch branding.
It remains to be seen if all these pieces will be available for purchase, but if not, there are still two months to garner your Halloween costume from elsewhere.
