If there's one collaboration that always manages to divide opinion, it's Supreme's annual offering alongside Nike. Each year, the releases seem to become more and more obscure. Love 'em or hate 'em, Supreme has a way of putting focus back on a shoe that hasn't been seen for decades.
True to form, Supreme pick another archived shoe for their 2019 Nike collaboration, only this time, it's something a little more familiar. The Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 surfaced back in January but it's not until now, that you get an official look.
Just as you'd expect, Supreme keeps the trainer almost identical to the OG which released in 1979. There are several features, however, that do separate this as a 'Preme exclusive.
For starters, the classic colours of the box logo feature to the white and university red silhouette.
You'll also notice the addition of Supreme logos which are stamped to the heel and across a lace tab. A combination of premium leather and lightweight knitted material hits the uppers.
These aren't quite as in-your-face as previous releases, but there'll no doubt be popular given the current trend for old school footwear.
According to sources, the Supreme x Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 launches via Supreme on Thursday, 7th March. As always, a follow up release will happen via Nike several days later.
