Nike’s legendary ACG line has been through leaps and bounds in its lifetime, and now the label is back, stronger than ever and here to stay. Over the years the line has dropped plenty of footwear offerings that have always gone down a treat, and now the classic Nike ACG Air Mada “Brown/Purple” from all the way back in 1994 is set to make a return this year.
Offering up a retro look that was designed with the hiking community in mind, it seems like there’s no better time for Nike to retro this silhouette, as currently the outdoor and hiking trend is in full-swing! While the original “Sandalwood” colourway is likely the most memorable for the OG heads, this fresh iteration gives off similar ‘90s retro vibes and will no doubt make a welcome addition to your rotation.
The uppers look set to be crafted from premium leather and durable canvas, with the mainly tan colour scheme accentuated with hits of purple and black to form a well-matched combination. Rope style laces keep these firmly on foot even amongst the most challenging terrain, while ACG’s signature triangular logo is located at the rear. Other details include pull tabs at the tongue and heel and an engineered outsole for added grip.
If you’re as keen as we are on this reissued classic silhouette you’ll have to stay tuned right here at The Sole Supplier for more details, as we’ll be sharing them with you as soon as they’re unveiled.
