The Nike Air Force 1 '07 LV8 is Crafted for the Streets

First launched back in 1982 and since becoming a cultural icon, the Nike Air Force 1 has undergone plenty of variations over the years. While for the most part the design has remained the same, there’s been countless attempts to reimagine the classic with a modern twist. Some more successful than others, the latest offering comes in the form of the Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8, a utilitarian take on the basketball silhouette that’s crafted for an urban environment.

While the original AF1 was made with the basketball court in mind, it ended up thriving on the streets instead, adopted by plenty of different subcultures including the hip-hop scene, the streetwear movement and many more. Seen here in two different colourways, the updated silhouette offers contemporary features, a new take on design and more attitude than ever before.

Both pairs are crafted from premium suede across the uppers and showcase signature Swoosh branding, as well as the addition of mini-Swoosh logos on the forefoot. Large pull tabs reside at the heels, while 3M reflective details and reimagined branding is located across the design. This all sits on top of a chunky rubber midsole that conceals state-of-the-art cushioning to ensure that these are comfortable enough to act as daily beaters.
