The Nike Air Force 1 has just had a spectacular update, in collaboration with Sandra Kay Yow, head coach of North Carolina's basketball team. Gradient pink detailing on the upper, alongside embroidered Swoosh branding, finished off with new, chunky satin ribbon laces. If this isn't the sneaker on your wish list, then we don't know what is!
The gradient colouring paints the leather upper, darker around the mudguard of the sneaker, slowly making its way to a pearly white colouring further up the walls.
Deep pink embroidery thread decorates the sidewall, in a misplaced style, alongside perforated Swoosh branding just above, in a similar style to the Jester XX silhouette.
The colour matches with the ribbon lace unit, as well as on the Air branding on the clean white midsole below foot, with that essential Air cushioning within it.
Blue branding on the tongue shows in a debossed style, with Nike Air branding, the same goes for the heel, where the blue can also be found. Kay Yow branding within the shoe, on the insole, indicates its connection to the Cancer Fund, which was created in her honour in 2007.
This collaborative Sandra Yow x Nike Air Force 1 brings light and happiness to the sneaker world, and will be launching soon in December. Stay tuned to The Sole Supplier for all updates on this silhouette and when you can cop!
