Nike and NBA are continuing their long-standing collaboration, but this time, the duo are delivering their latest Nike Air Force 1 embellished with banned apparel and accessories. A tongue-in-cheek design that pushes the boundaries, this streamlined sneaker sits on the maximalist side of the fence.
Crafted from the AF1's signature leather, the Nike Swoosh on the side is detailed with a gold-tone embellishment that represents NBA players not being able to rock their favourite gold jewellery on the court. On the tongue, the world-famous NBA logo is flipped upside down which nods to occasions where players would flip their headbands over in the same fashion. The heel features contrasting taping that's reminiscent of the supportive tape some players – like Derrick Rose – wear on their neck for support and the heel overlay represents shooting sleeves.
A sneaker that's rich in detail and representative of its heritage, the Nike Air Force 1 High 'NBA Pack' is set to drop on Nike in the coming weeks. So, if you want to get your hands on these, keep it locked into The Sole Supplier and we'll let you know when more release info is available for this pair.
