The Nike Air Jordan 4 Gets The ‘University Blue’ Treatment

One of Jordan's key silhouettes of the season meets Nike's hue of the season with the Nike Air Jordan 4 'University Blue'. Set to land in 2021 (which is sooner than we think!), this frosty sneaker celebrates UNC with its clean blue hue. Nodding to the OG design with premium fabrics and just the right amount of branding, this sneaker is going to be a tough cop.

Where the original AJ4 is crafted from smooth leather, this modern iteration comes in supple suede that's layered for structure. Breathable mesh graces the sides to encourage air to flow around the foot and a plastic cage is overlaid to enhance the durability of the sneaker. Elsewhere on the silhouette, sturdy moulds are added to the sidewalls, mudguard and heel and come in a grey and black flecked finish that perfectly complements the blue of the suede and laces and the black of the front midsole.

Of course, the sole is fitted with Nike's exclusive Air unit that delivers on bounce and comfort, while branding comes in the form of Michael Jordan's signature '23' on the tongue and the legendary 'Jumpman' graphic on the heel.

Although we know this Air Jordan 4 'University Blue' will land in 2021, no official release date has been announced yet!
