The Nike Air Max 1 "Light Madder Root" is Decorated in Spring-Ready Hues

In honour of the silhouette's 35th anniversary, Nike has really amped up the Air Max 1 offerings this year. Although it was a quiet start, following on from Air Max Day the brand has unveiled a series of AM1s that will be dropping this year, including the Easter-inspired Nike Air Max 1 "Light Madder Root", which is constructed from a mixture of materials in a plethora of pastel colours.

When looking at the iconic wavy mudguard, you'll notice a coral-hued suede panelling adding a premium element to the sneaker, whilst a vintage, off-white colouring takes over the midsole and outlines the exposed Air unit. Above, the Nike Swooshes on the medial and lateral sidewalls are dressed in a lime-green suede (reminiscent of the recently unveiled "Treeline" iteration), which matches up to the Air Max label at the top of the tongue. Further panelling, which sits across the nude-toned mesh upper, comes in sky-blue nubuck, with the sneaker being tied up from top to toe with a set of dashing pink laces.
