With the Nike Air Max 1 set to make a huge comeback this year, fans of the silhouette will be overjoyed to hear that one of the most desirable colourways of all time is also coming back. The AM1 “Shima Shima” launched exclusively in Japan back in 2003, making it not just desirable but also incredibly hard to acquire. It was initially launched alongside a Dunk High and an Air Trainer 1, with the latter having made a return in October 2022. Now the popular AM1 is set to receive a global release for the first time ever, leaving many sneakerheads eager to get their hands on a pair. Decked out in a neat brown, white and grey colourway, the kicks boast OG colour blocking, as well as special-edition branding on the tongue tabs.
Of course, classic Nike Air embroidery makes an appearance on the heels, and the pair are sat upon the legendary Air Max sole unit that offers all the comfort and support one could need. Set to release on the 10th March via Nike and select retailers, make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest, and while you’re with us check out the brand-new Air Max 1 “Design by Japan”!
