With 2022 being the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, it’s no surprise that we’ve seen plenty of brand-new colourways unveiled so far this year. Designed by Tinker Hatfield back in 1987, the silhouette remains a cult-classic sneaker that’s ever popular with footwear fans across the globe. The Nike Air Max 1 “Treeline” is the latest variation to be unveiled by the Swoosh brand, and it sports a colourway that’s incredibly similar to the legendary Nike SB Dunk High “Skunk” that many sneakerheads know and love.
Decked out in a mix of green, purple and beige, the uppers are crafted from various fabrics but most notable is the use of hairy suede, once again adding to the Skunk vibe. Classic branded-touches are present as well as the trademark Air Max unit under the midsole. If you’re looking to get your hands on this upcoming pair, you’ll have to stay tuned for further updates, as we don’t know much else yet.
