You'd be hard pressed to find a sneaker as meticulously and intricately designed as the Nike Air Trainer SC High "Orange". While this is by no means a brand new silhouette having been introduced in the early '90s, it fits perfectly with today's classic-meets-contemporary aesthetic. As we've mentioned before, the Air Trainer will be making a massive comeback this year, so it's natural that the Beaverton brand have decided to re-release this iconic model.
Unveiled in this brand new colourway by sneaker insider @yankeekicks, the "Orange" is a lesson in textures and materials. Working on top of a soft orange nylon base, edgy burnt orange panels shoot across the entire upper of the Air Trainer for a stark contrast. As if that wasn't enough, this shoe introduces a woven forest green material into the mix as well as bright yellow Swoosh that looks like it's made out of corduroy.
Clean cream tones make their way towards the eyelets and laces, and underneath it all you'll find a "Sail" Nike Air midsole. While the Oregon footwear label could've left it there, they've rounded everything off with a see-through rubber outsole underfoot, finalising the truly spectacular design that is one-of-a-kind.
The Nike Air Trainer SC High "Orange" is expected to release within the coming months, so make sure you keep it locked right here if you want a pair in your rotation! Let us know what you think of this retro re-release, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Nike Air Trainer 1 SP "Honeydew"!
