The Nike TN Air Max Plus "Sunset" is Set to Return Sooner Than You Think

One of the most in-demand colourways of an iconic silhouette, the Nike TN Air Max Plus "Sunset" is a shoe which many collectors have their eyes on and which many of us here at The Sole Supplier have been eagerly awaiting since news of a re-release first broke last year. Although news of the release had been pretty quiet since then, we feel like it could be dropping sooner than you think.

For those old enough to remember, the "Sunset" colourway was one of the OG Nike TN colourways. Said to be inspired by ealry sunsets and late-night campfires, the warm hues of this silhouette first hit shelves back in 1998 as a Foot Locker exclusive and quickly became a must-have amongst TN fans at the time. Since its initial release, the "Sunset" has seen multiple retros, with the last one arriving in 2018. Now, the colourway is back and looks ready to drop as early as this summer!

Although no official news on a release date has been given by Nike or any other retailers, the Nike TN "Sunset" was loaded up on Nike US earlier this morning, which means we're likely to see a drop date for Europe announced very soon, with some sources saying July 30th could be the expected release date. Looking at the official production imagery, this particular rendition sports the original colour blocking with the iconic gradient effect featured under a TPU overlay that mimics swinging palm trees. A mini Swoosh decorates the lateral walls, backed up by Nike Air and TN details atop the tongue and at the heel. A true recreation of the OG, we really can't wait to get our hands on this pair.
