The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 "University Gold" has been on our radar for quite some time now. First leaked all the way back in May of last year, it was later officially confirmed by Virgil Abloh himself just before the 17th NBA All-Star Game when he gifted a pair to LeBron James. With that said, we now have more release info surrounding the coveted Off-White pair, and here's what we know so far!
Following the same winning Off-White x Nike formula that we all know and love, the "University Gold" features an all-leather construction that's dipped in a vibrant yellow palette. A shimmering "Metallic Silver" Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels complete with visible stitching for that delightfully deconstructed look, and this signature aesthetic is then emphasised with exposed foam tongues and a zip tie.
Quoted text can be found throughout the upper and Air midsole, and to round off the Air Force 1 collab, branding is haphazardly stitched onto the tongue for a DIY-inspired look, finalising the design.
Created in celebration of the Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" art exhibition at ICA Boston which runs from July 3rd to September 26th, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 "Lemonade" is set to launch this month via select Off-White boutiques. This doesn't mean it won't drop on SNKRS, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop! Let us know if you'll be adding these to your collection this season, and while you're here, you might as well take a closer look at the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low "Black"!
