The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" Has Been Confirmed

Following the release of the "Monarch" and the "Noise Aqua" and the "Rush Maroon" later this month, the hotly anticipated Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" has finally been confirmed! Considered by many sneakerheads to be a unicorn, nobody believed that these actually existed until Union LA's very own Chris Gibbs accidentally let it slip on Instagram!

In the now-deleted IG post, Gibbs wrote, "Truly honored to know the whole Patta team for many moons now... These guys are like brothers from other mothers from across the pond." He continued, "Thanks for letting me intro the Black color way! These are fire!"

Unlike the previous three editions of this shoe, this Air Max 1 places a larger emphasis on the black portion of the colourway rather than have it subtly complement the grey mesh base. It also features a range of more premium materials including full grain leather overlays and wavy suede mudguards. A crisp white Nike Swoosh shoots across the sidewalls, and this is accompanied by a smaller one on the lateral toe.

There's no word yet on when the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" will finally launch, but with how things are going at the moment we wouldn't be surprised if they landed sometime in December or January.
