The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Rush Maroon" Is Officially Unveiled

After the successful launch of both the “Monarch” and “Noise Aqua” colourways, frequent collaborators Patta and Nike and back at it again with the official unveiling of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Rush Maroon”. The duo have worked together for many years now, with the Dutch retailer creating some of the most hyped AM1s of all time in the past.

While the past two renditions were crafted of suede and mesh and showcased traditional AM1 colour blocking, this new version instead opts for premium leather construction with much more subtle colour blocking for an alternate look. While they may not show off the same vintage flair, they most definitely still look great on feet and will be an instant cop for many footwear fans.

The mudguards show off the same altered “wave” shape that’s a totally refreshed look for the Air Max 1, with branding coming in the form of Swoosh logos and mini Swoosh logos on either side, along with Patta branding on the tongues which points to the collaborative nature of the release. An orange inner lining complements the otherwise mostly maroon colourway, while the look is finished off with an off-white midsole that conceals a visible Nike Air Max unit at the heel.
