The PUMA RS-X Is Set To Be The Shoe Of The Summer

When the PUMA RS-X launched in late 2018, the shoe took the sneaker community by storm. With it's chunky midsole, plethora of colourways and hyped collabs, this sneaker was hard to ignore. Fast-forward to 2019 and the hype is still real, with the German sportswear giants dropping more exceptional colour options.

When the RS-X was first introduced to the market, PUMA delved into their Running Series archives from the '80s and stripped back the technology and remoulded it for the current day sneaker market. Utilising more lightweight materials and superior energy control, this new iteration of the shoe is the best yet.

Tapping into our yearning for nostalgia, this sneaker plays off the vintage trend perfectly. Boasting poppy colourways and a patchwork-like upper, what truly sets this new collection apart is the abundance of colour options.

Taking a closer look at the brand new White/Black/Orange/Red and Grey Violet/Charcoal Grey colourways, these sneakers need to be on your feet this Summer!

Starting with the white option, this sneaker boasts a predominately white upper and midsole. This is contrasted expertly by black portions found on the sole, mudguard and ankle. Rounded off with orange hits to the heel and a red heel counter and pull tab, this sneaker would look perfect when you are soaking up the sun on holiday.

Next up is the grey and purple iteration. Again coming with a black and white midsole, what makes this sneaker stand out is the hits of colour on the upper. With grey hues adorned across the majority of the shoe, this is contrasted perfectly by the deep purple and vibrant mint on the heel counter and piping.
