As part of an ongoing collaboration between the two parties, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Converse have announced the launch of two brand-new colourways of the TURBOWPN Hi, titled “Clay'' and “Egret” respectively. Showcasing the designer’s signature style, both pairs are crafted from premium leather throughout for high-end vibes and offer up the iconic oversized tongue for an instantly-recognisable look.
Dual-branding features throughout, pointing to the collaborative nature of the release, while Converse’s signature star logo is altered to showcase an elongated point on the lateral sides, with the standard logo residing on the medial sides. Flat-style laces keep these firmly on feet and tonal stitching completes the subtle aesthetic.
This is all housed on top of an oversized midsole unit similar to those that appear throughout Rick Owens mainline in-house sneaker selection. Plenty of cushioning is concealed within to ensure optimum comfort at all times, while a plush inner lining also makes these a cosy wear throughout the year.
If you’re looking to get your hands on either of the upcoming colourways, the good news is that both pairs are set to arrive at Converse and select retailers from the 3rd of May, so you can already gear up for the release.
