The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Finally Has a Release Date

This is it. After what can only be described as an eternity and a half, the long awaited sacai x Nike VaporWaffle finally has a confirmed release date. A collection of sneakers that has been delayed way too many times, Chitose Abe's latest and greatest Swoosh collab should not be missed, so here's absolutely everything that you need to know.

Arriving in four colourways including "Villain Red", "Tour Yellow", "Black", and "Sail", each pair features a breathable Flyknit construction that's decorated with the Japanese imprint's signature deconstructed aesthetic. Unlike Virgil Abloh's Off-White where he tends to simplify everything, Abe opts for a more Brutalist approach that essentially doubles everything. From the lateral side Swooshes to the laces, even the midsole has been done up twice.

Speaking of which, one of the main talking points of this sacai x Nike collab has got to be the peeled off heel that is sure to turn heads. This leads down to a Waffle midsole that's completed with a durable rubber outsole for added grip with every step.
