Originally releasing to celebrate Slam Jam Socialism's 30th birthday at Pitti Uomo 95, the Slam Jam Socialism x Nike Blazer Mid 'Class 1977' sent raptures throughout the sneaker community. With it's one distinctive design feature, this shoe is one that you need in your rotation.
Utilising a white leather across the upper, this is contrasted perfectly with off-white suede overlays and a vintage sole unit. Couple this with a vintage-effect print of “Class” and “1977” on the Blazer's heels and a true-to-style exposed foam tongue.
What truly sets this sneaker apart is the Swoosh, with the motif flipped upside-down on medial side. Taking inspiration from a factory defect, this shoe is one that we will be copping as soon as they launch.
Available from February 22 at Slam Jam's physical locations and online with a wider launch expected from Nike at a later date.
