Sneakersnstuff is certainly no stranger when it comes to NB collaborations. In fact, back in 2005, co-founders Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson visited their famous factory in Flimby to design their very first New Balance 577. Fast forward 17 years and the duo are back, this time for the lauded Sneakersnstuff x New Balance 991 collection.
Inspired by the coastal town's rich and versatile history, SNS's take on the 991 is as premium as it gets. Arriving in two colourways, the "Navy" throws back to the original 577 from back in the day which was nicknamed "Peter". The "Yellow", on the other hand, nods to Erik's father-in-law Canary Island roots.
Both pairs are crafted from luxurious leather and supple suede, and sit stop New Balance's signature ABZORB midsole that's as comfortable as it gets. The iconic italicised "N" graces the lateral and medial side panels, while additional branding is finely embroidered on the tongue and heel. Through this collection, SNS want to show that there is more to Flimby than just making sneakers. Whether you're searching for treasures at the beach or eating delicious fresh food, the charming little town definitely delivers.
The SNS x New Balance 991 collection will release exclusively at all brick-and-mortar SNS locations and online on February 26th. Set to drop in limited quantities, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop! Let us know which colourway you're feeling the most, and in related news, could the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Green" be dropping soon?
