The Sole Womens Champions 4 Influential Ladies In Mini-Film For International Women's Day

As you all know, International Women's Day is just around the corner, falling on the 8th March every year, and here at The Sole Supplier we're all about empowering one another, uplifting other women and putting our faith into the sisterhood.

In celebration of this year's IWD, we spoke to four influential and inspiring women about what womanhood means to them, how they think the world around them is evolving and, of course, what their favourite sneakers are. They even shared some of their top tips on what to do when you're not feeling like you and how important it is to focus on self-love.

Featuring Jess Sigsworth, a player in Manchester United's Women's Team, Emily Atkins, who's a massive part of the sneaker community and The Sole Supplier team, Jess Lawrence (aka @jessylaw), fashionista who has gone from freelance content creator to social manager at Vogue Business, as well as model, Milo Cuki (aka @milocuki) who is a streetwear and sneaker enthusiast. Each of these phenomenal women shared their story with us, offering some valuable advice, words of wisdom and a laugh or two.

While we're here to celebrate women from across the globe, the stark reality is that there's still a long way to go. There's still a massive gender gap in the workplace, in our government, gender-related violence is still rife and women's rights both socially and economically aren't quite where they need to be just yet. But at TSS, we're a believer in action, so we hereby vow to listen to the stories of our fellow women, validate their advice and spread the word. Because empowered women empower women, right ladies?
