The 3-Stripes' Latest Adicolor Collection Takes the Sports Luxe Trend Seriously

ICYMI - Gucci fever has well and truly taken over the fashion industry this year. The Italian fashion house managed to knock Balenciaga off the top spot for the ‘World's Hottest Brand” in Q2, and having lined up a number of successful releases since we wouldn’t be surprised to see it ranking pretty high in Q3 as well. In 2022 alone, the brand announced a return of its collaboration with The North Face, as well as a joint effort with London-based skate brand Palace, but the collab that got everyone talking was its collection with German giant adidas back at the start of the year.

But not everyone who loves the Gucci look has the Gucci budget (we know, we feel you!) and luckily for us, adidas has released a rather Gucci-esque collection of styles that takes inspiration from 70s sportswear. Gucci-fied or not, the trend has reigned supreme over the year, with tracksuits and terrace-style sneakers like Gazelles and Sambas dominating the fashion scene - so we won’t complain at all about seeing some of these styles arrive in plush velour and premium-looking colour palettes. First up, these 70s Velour Track Pants went straight into our cart. The combination of 2022s favourite colour (this beaut green shade) and super-soft fabric make them a real must-have, and they look equally as good styled with a plain white crop top as they do with the matching track jacket.
