The Vans x NEIGHBORHOOD x Mister Cartoon capsule collection is an impressive three-way collaboration between the legendary American footwear label, Japanese streetwear OG’s and a highly-coveted Los Angeles artist.
The trio share many common aesthetics and have clubbed together to present variations of both the Authentic 44 DX and the Old Skool 36 DX.
Both pairs showcase gothic-stylings typical of Mister Cartoon’s signature style, with the Authentic crafted from durable canvas and showcasing a repeat-pattern across the upper. Classic Vans branding is present in the form of a logo tab, while “Uncle Toons Mart” is inscribed across the midsole in a tattoo-influenced font.
Next up, the Old Skool 36 DX is seen here made from supple black suede for a stealthy look. Jazz stripe branding runs across both the lateral and medial sides, while the toe boxes are embroidered with “Tokyo” and “Los Angeles” respectively, honouring each collaborator. The pack combines urban influences from both cities to create a well-rounded and street-worthy feel.
If you’re looking to get your hands on either of the models releasing as part of the Vans x NEIGHBORHOOD x Mister Cartoon pack, the good news is that the collection is dropping via select retailers on the 26th June. Make sure to keep it locked right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest updates, and while you’re here check out the Scooby-Doo x Converse collection that just dropped!
