The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 was one of those pairs that hadn’t really changed much over the years, until of course, the CMPCT version came along. Whilst the shoe’s original profile was still pretty sleek and sporty, Ye’s team set out to scale the pair down into an even more slimline version instead of working on a V3, and it’s fair to say that when they first dropped in a bright red colour the reviews were mixed. Nevertheless, many Yeezy fans said that the CMPCT 350 was one of the comfiest Yeezy styles ever made, and now the more wearable Yeezy 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Carbon” colourway is on the way to win over the rest of Ye's fanbase.
Arriving in a simple black and beige colourway, the pair sit more in line with Yeezy’s earth-toned palette than their predecessor. The darker hue makes up the majority of the sock-like woven upper, whilst the lighter beige shade peeks out from underneath the pattern. In addition, pops of grey add extra detailing at the toe and collar, whilst a stealthy black sole, collar and lace unit finish off the “Slate Carbon” CMPCT 350’s design.
Our sources say that the “Slate Carbon” adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT could be set to drop as early as May 28, but as with other recent releases that could be subject to change. To make sure you don’t miss out, be sure to hit the purple button and set your release reminders, as this’ll make sure you’re notified as soon as they’re scheduled to drop!
