The Yeezy 700 "Sun" Arrives With a Much Lower Retail Price
Back in 2015, Kanye West made the bold promise that one day, everyone who wanted a pair of Yeezys will be able to get them without having to pay an extortionate price. With the hopes of making the FOAM RNNR just $20, the streetwear icon is further cementing this dream by decreasing the price of the upcoming Yeezy 700 "Sun", and here's what we know so far.
Showcased here by sneaker insider @hanzuying, the "Sun" is the latest and greatest colourway to grace the chunky 700 silhouette. Giving the original "Wave Runner" a bold revamp, it replaces the classic "Sold Grey" hues with eye-catching yellow tones, while maintaining the blue and green accents that made the OG so iconic. Leather and suede can be found throughout the upper, while a dash of mesh offers up a breathable fit and finish.
Down below, a pale orange adidas Boost midsole is present complete with a dark brown gum rubber outsole underfoot, resulting in comfort and cushioning that has literally been taken to new heights.
As you may or may not know, the retail price for the Yeezy 700 has always been £250 which is pretty steep. With that said, according to sneaker insider @py_rates, the adidas Yeezy 700 "Sun" will carry a £200 price tag that is definitely a lot more affordable. To our knowledge, the materials and overall construction has remained the same, so you won't find any difference in quality here! Let us know if you'll be adding a pair of these to your rotation on January 23rd, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 380 "Alien Blue" has been unveiled!
