If you didn't manage to secure the "Alien" back in 2019 then you may be in luck as the Yeezy Boost 380 "Alien Blue" has just been unveiled. A colourway that's been making rounds across the sneakersphere over the past few months, here's everything we know so far about this extraterrestrial colourway!

Taking on the OG 380 colourway and giving it a subtle yet striking twist, the "Alien Blue" boasts the same Primeknit upper but with revamped mesh panelling across the lateral and medial sides. Now overlaid with a touch of green, this also acts as the shoe's lacing system too, where Kanye West's somewhat controversial infinite lacing system can loop in and out with ease.

A light grey collar keeps everything locked in and comfy, and shifting your focus down below you'll find an adidas Boost midsole that's housed with a light blue semi-translucent unit. Regarded by many sneakerheads as more comfortable than the 350 V2, the extra chunky heel really helps this. Rounding it all off is a grey rubber outsole, finalising the futuristic aesthetic that we all know and love.

2020 has been massive for the sock-like silhouette, and it looks like 2021 will be the same too with the debut of the adidas Yeezy Boost 380 "Alien Blue" sometime this spring. Let us know if you'll be adding a pair to your rotation, and in related news, the Yeezy 700 "Sun" is Kanye West's first sneaker of the year!
