The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Mono Features a New Visible Cage

Turns out the "Covellite" wasn't the hotly anticipated 350 V3, but that doesn't mean Kanye West doesn't have something new up his sleeve as we take our first look at the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Mono!

From 2016 to 2018, all 350 V2s featured a solid Primeknit upper. Some colourways boasted a stripe across the lateral sides, while others were adorned with "SPLY-350" text. Towards the end of '18, we saw the introduction of the transparent stripe that debuted on the "Static", and now three years later, it looks like the entire shoe will be see-through as we take a glimpse of the "Mono" line.

"Mono" isn't the colourway name but it refers to the intricate caging system that can be seen through the revamped upper. Plastic eyelets keep the thick rope laces in place, while a pull tab around the heel harkens back to the OG days. Down below, you'll find the much-loved adidas Boost midsole that's as slick as it gets, making these some of the comfiest summer shoes you'll rock this year.

Now for that all-important release date. According to sneaker insider @py_rates, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Mono will be introduced in three colourways on June 21st including "Monice", "Moncla", and "Monmis". We'll get an additional colourway two months later simply dubbed "Light".
