After dropping a barrage of V3s over the past few weeks, it looks like Kanye West is going back to the very beginning with the upcoming Yeezy Boost 700 "Hi-Res Red" - and it's fiery hot! This colourway marks the second all-red adi Yeezy to launch ever, with the first being the "Slate Red" from earlier this year.
A silhouette that singlehandedly resuscitated the dying chunky sneaker trend back in 2017, the latest 700 adds a bunch of bright hues to the usually-understated pair. While the front half takes some inspiration from the iconic "Wave Runner" which recently re-released, the greyed out panels have been replaced with a lush red suede that's sure to turn heads. Contrast black accents make their way to the vamp and midfoot, while Ye's signature infinite lacing system also makes an appearance here, making this the first time that this setup has featured on the V1. Of course, if you're not a fan of this look, you'll find a conventional pair of laces straight out of the box.
Shifting your focus down below, the brick red midsole is accented with teal and orange tones throughout. These are done up with a 3M reflective finish so you can flex even in low light conditions. The unit is infused with a chunky bed of Boost for an insane amount of comfort, and under all of this, you'll find a complementary rubber outsole that's embossed with a single adidas logo towards the front, cementing the collaboration that has been going strong for 7 years now.
Set to land very soon, make sure you hit the "Notify me" buttons across this article for your best chance to secure the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V1 "Hi-Res Red". Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, you might as well take a sneak peek of the Yeezy 700 V3 "Fade Carbon"!
