This Air Jordan 1 Proves That Pink Never Fails to Please

The previously unloved Mids have definitely taken 2021 by storm. Coming in a whole range of cute and coveted colourways, the Mid has earned its place in the sneaker hall of fame, despite some initial wobbles. Following on from the super-clean Jordan 1 Mid Grey Fog is the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS Pink Black, an iteration that sees hints of "Arctic Pink" and "Hyper Crimson" hues across the body.

Underfoot, a baby-pink rubber outsole melts into a crisp-white midsole. Matching to this are the perforated toe box (for enhanced breathability, of course), mid-panel and lacing system which come in the same pleasing pink tone. Standing out in neon are the iconic Nike Swooshes on the medial and lateral sidewall, as well as Michael Jordan's Wings insignia on the ankle panelling and Jumpman logo at the top of the tongue. It's nice to see the branding standing out against the dark, black leather overlays in that "Hyper Crimson" hue.
