While adidas currently debates whether to destroy, recycle or donate profits from its remaining Yeezy stock, more and more previously unseen samples from the years gone by are starting to do the rounds on social media. Just recently, we were treated to a glimpse at the unreleased mid-cut Yeezy 650 from 2016, and now sneaker insider masterchefian has shared a look at a Yeezy 500 colourway that never made it to the shop shelves.
Taking on a rather minimalist make-up, the cream-coloured Yeezy 500 slots in perfectly with the earth-toned colour palette that Kanye West was so fond of. Here, the rugged-looking sneaker sees the light-coloured hue take over the mesh base, while suede accents arrive in a tonal light grey. Underfoot, the 500s chunky sole comes packed with adiPRENE cushioning and takes on a crisp white shade across the midsole portion, while the rubber outsole is done up in a gum finish.
Right now, it's unclear as to whether this is one of the styles and colourways that the 3-Stripes is still sitting on, or if the pair is a product of Yeezy seasons prior. Be sure to keep it locked to The Sole Supplier while we wait to find out the fate of the remaining pairs, and in the meantime why not check out the upcoming Supreme x Nike SB Dunks.
