The '82 Bruce Kilgore-designed Air Force 1 cannot be beaten. Having come in what seems like every possible iteration under the sun, the Swoosh brand continue to surprise us with a new unveiling every week. Next on the list is the adorable Nike Air Force 1 Pink Faux Fur, which sees a fur-covered tongue add a hint of cosy warmth to this rosy sneaker.
Whilst this colourway doesn't stray far from what we know and love, there is the addition of 'Barely Rose' crushed velvet on the heel panel, which houses the usual Nike Air branding. We've seen this sort of detailing on the Nike Dunk (think the "Pink" and "Purple" velvet iterations), but it's refreshing to see it on a blush-coloured AF1. Following on from this luxurious detailing is a faux fur-covered tongue, which sticks out between the fuzzy laces and leather branding label at the top of the tongue. With closer inspection, you'll see that there are two tongues (very sacai of you, AF1), meaning that this bold feature is in fact removable.
On the medial and lateral sidewalls, the iconic Nike Swoosh is constructed from a reflective, silver material and stands out against the otherwise entirely pink AF-1. Constructed from tumbled leather, we know that this is one premium sneaker that's going to deliver in comfort as well as style thanks to the usual perforations dotted across the toe box.
