Continuing their thriving partnership, No Vacancy Inn and New Balance are set to release a new mega-exclusive New Balance 650 – and only 400 pairs are being produced. Now, this sneaker was teased way back in July of 2019 by the founders of No Vacancy Inn – Termaine Emory and Brock Korsan – and the 650 is set to be the third instalment of the duo's “Water and WiFi” series.
The collab's previous instalment saw the New Balance 990v3 in navy, black and grey and following this, a New Balance 850 came in a two-strong pack – one dressed in the same navy colourway and the other on varying shades of grey. The latest New Balance 650 looks to earthy tones and neutral hues to deliver a sneaker that is bang on trend and undeniably timeless. No Vacancy Inn's Emory said, “We opted for a simpler branding approach”. And that they did! The only logo detailing on this pair comes in the form of New Balance's iconic 'N' to the lateral side and '650' embroidered onto the tongue.
But not all is at it seems with this pair. Much like the collab's previous designs, all 400 pairs of this No Vacancy Inn x New Balance 650 come with an exclusive USB hangtag that holds a private playlist of music that Korsan and Emory have had on repeat throughout the Coronavirus lockdown.
The No Vacancy Inn x New Balance 650 launches today and little is known about the retail price. This sneaker is due to launch exclusively via StockX IPO in a blind auction.
