It was only two years ago that Nike first unveiled Vapormax technology. This hugely popular innovation was only the start in a line-up of new Air Max models. Next up was the radical comfort from 270-degrees of cushioning, a sort of hybrid between the Vapormax and a conventional runner. But it didn't stop with the Air Max 270, in fact, the evolution of Air took a giant leap forward with the arrival of last month's 720 range.
This was chunkier that anything previously seen not to mention unbelievably comfortable too. And that's saying something given the Vapormax bubble isn't exactly on the small side! Even now whilst most of you are still focused on the new 720s, Nike have already adapted that model. Here we take a look at the Air Max 720 Saturn which launches this week in 'Triple Black'.
Like any trending sneaker of today, this is a striking example of sports performance colliding with street style. That oversized Air Unit leads into a water-proof upper complete with tech-wear inspired details. That includes a zip along the sidewall as well as a heel strap that can be adjusted for your comfort.
The bootie construct is made that little bit more durable with hard-wearing neoprene to the inner lining. Everything takes on a tonal shade across the Air Max 720 Saturn Triple Black with the exception of that Swoosh to the sidewall.
As mentioned, sizes are hitting retailers including Foot Locker UK from Saturday, 9th March. Don't sleep as this is expected to be another of Nike's popular Air Max models. Otherwise, take a look at the current range of Air Max 720s here.
