Three Brand-New Nike Air Max 1s Are Launching for Air Max Day This Year

Air Max Day is always a big occasion for the sneaker industry and this year is set to be no different, with Nike planning three big Air Max 1 releases. The Nike Air Max 1 “Wabi-Sabi” which was previewed earlier this month will be joined by both the Nike Air Max 1 “Blueprint” and the Nike Air Max 1 “La Ville-Lumiere”, forming an impressive trio of high-heat releases that will also be regionally exclusive.

First up is the brand-new AM1 “Blueprint” that showcases a light-blue colourway and geometric pattern details, paying homage to the inspiration behind the design. Colour-coordinated Nike Air branding is located at the tongues, while the look is finished off with an ice-blue outsole. Set to release only in North America, these are most definitely a strong pair.

Next up is the Asia-Pacific and Latin-America exclusive Air Max 1 “Wabi-Sabi”, which offers up a khaki-green and brown hued colourway inspired by the ancient Japanese concept of beauty in imperfection. Last but not least, the European release consists of the AM1 “La Ville-Lumiere”, which translates to “City Lights” in English. Showcasing a grey and navy-blue colour concept, the sneakers also boast specific Air Max Day branding on the tongues.
