Two New Elevated Air Jordan 1s Are on the Way

The Jordan 1 LV8D silhouette was a bit like Marmite when it first dropped earlier this year, but after a little warming-up period, it looks like it's here to stay. The women’s-exclusive style essentially sees the Air Jordan 1 Low get a makeover in the form of a stacked midsole and minimalist branding, and the bold and bright colourways just seem to keep coming. The latest pairs are set to drop in “Team Red” and “Grey Yellow,” so here’s a closer look at them.

Constructed from a full leather build, the bold “Yellow Grey” LV8D Jordan 1 is certainly eye-catching. A steel-grey base gives way to bright yellow overlays and matching Nike Swoosh, whilst yellow also appears on the sockliner and laces. A bold white platform midsole adds a pop of contrast, whilst the outsole comes dipped in yellow to tie the colourway together.

The Jordan 1 LV8D “Team Red” pair is probably the more wearable pair of the two, coming in a super-clean white and dark red colourway. This “Team Red” shade atop a bright white leather base, and takes over the overlays, Swoosh, liner and laces. Underfoot, a cream-coloured midsole gives the pair some serious vintage vibes, and a burgundy outsole rounds them off.

Both pairs see the usual Air Jordan 1 branding hits take on a much more minimal approach, with a simple outline of the Wings logo appearing on the heel tab, and a Jumpman logo etched into the rubber midsole.
