Known for being a collaborative powerhouse in recent years, New Balance is easily one of the strongest brands on the planet right now. Seen on the feet of influencers, sneakerheads and high-fashion fans alike, the label’s sneakers continue to take the market by storm as it collaborates with the likes of JJJJound, Joe Freshgoods and other industry-defining names. While most of these high-heat team efforts fly off the shelves, it seems that there’s some hidden gems still available on the New Balance website.
Read on to find the best collaborative pairs still available to cop right now, and while you’re with us be sure to check out the rest of our website for all the latest sneaker and streetwear news as it happens!
First up is the Boston-based brand’s joint effort with none other than Palace Skateboards. The UK-based boarding label has grown to become one of the most recognisable names in streetwear, and has joined forces with plenty of footwear brands over the years. The duo came together to offer up a limited-edition take on the lesser-seen 580 silhouette, with the kicks showcasing an array of teal, purple and yellow hues. Dual-branding features at the tongues, while a classic N logo is located on either side.
Our second addition to the list comes in the form of Carhartt WIP’s take on the much-loved 990v1. Decked out in deep navy hues, the kicks showcase everything we would expect from the 1982 silhouette, with premium fabrics used across the upper for a luxe feel. Grey details and mesh panels add a further layer of depth to the design, while Carhartt’s signature logo makes an appearance throughout the pair, lending a workwear feel to the look. The sneakers are completed with an aptly-cushioned footbed, meaning these are the ideal daily beaters.
Last but by no means at all least is SNS’ take on the eye-catching New Balance 2002R Mule. Offering a unique slip-on design, the sneakers aren’t exactly winter-friendly, but if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxed staple then these are about as good as you’ll ever get. Seen here in an olive-green hue, the sneakers boast SNS branding on the tongues and NB’s classic N logo on either side. Completed with an ENCAP midsole, could these be your next pair of house slippers?
