We're Frilled With the Nike Dunk Low "Valentine's Day"

While we’ve still got the festive period to look forward to, the sneaker industry is a fast-moving space, and it seems that Nike is already preparing for Valentine’s Day 2022. Fresh off the press are official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day”, that’s set for a release in the coming months. It’s been a huge year for the silhouette, so it only makes sense for Nike to offer up a special edition Dunk this time around.

Decked out in a clean “Team Red/Pink Prime” colourway, the sneaker shows a refreshed take on the 1984 classic silhouette that’s crafted from a mix of premium pebbled leather and denim. The colourway itself is certainly a head-turner, so if you’re one for vibrant kicks could these be your next cop?

The uppers display typical Nike Dunk panelling, with details including suede Swoosh logos on either side that are accentuated with delicate frilled details and Nike branding on both the tongue and heel tabs. A plush lining and chunky midsole completes the look, with full-length Nike Air cushioning concealed within to ensure that these can also act as comfy everyday beater sneakers.
