After a hugely-successful sell-out capsule earlier on this year, cult Japanese streetwear label WTAPS and Californian footwear legends Vans join forces once again for yet another collaborative effort. This time around the duo have revived WTAPS’ (pronounced Double-Taps) highly-coveted crossbones logo.
Both the Vans Authentic and the Sk8-Hi have been given the militaristic-style makeover and it’s safe to say that they’re looking hotter than ever. If that wasn't enough, a full apparel collection is also set to drop!
Two different colorways of each model are set to launch, with the first showcasing a blacked-out look with white embroidered crossbones. The second instead opts for a head-turning high-visibility orange and white crossbones again. The Sk8-Hi displays Vans’ signature Jazz Stripe logo across each side, while the Authentic features a canvas logo tab for a pared-back look.
Whether you’re a fan of WTAPS or not, there’s no denying that this is an impressive collaborative effort. If you’ve been searching for a versatile and wearable pair of sneakers to add to your rotation, there’s certainly a lot of strong contenders in this pack!
If you’re liking this upcoming WTAPS x Vans collection as much as we are, the good news is that you can cop it all from the 26th of September via select retailers! Make sure to keep it locked in at The Sole Supplier for the latest and while you’re here check out these serious steals at adidas!
