Yeezy 450 Sizing: How Do They Fit?

Even if you're not a hardcore sneakerhead, the chances are you're probably talking about the brand new Yeezy 450. Taking the Yeezy 500's crown as Kanye West's craziest and more experimental adidas collaboration to date, this insane, dumpling-inspired shoe is the brainchild of legendary designer Steven Smith, who also so happens to be the mind behind other iconic silhouettes such as the Reebok InstaPump Fury, the New Balance 1500, and the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2.

While the 450 certainly isn't for the faint of heart, there are a few of you who are brave enough to wear these. With that said, we've compiled a little size guide to help you find the perfect fit. As the Yeezy 450 is a pretty new silhouette, I gambled and went half a size up. I personally have pretty wide feet so I think that I really could've gone a full size up, but to be honest, half a size up is what I'd recommend in general for the best fit possible.

The 450 is a pretty weird shoe. Unlike your conventional sneaker, the sock-like collar wraps pretty tightly around your ankle. Obviously others like Alexander Wang and Balenciaga have done this in the past, but infusing this type of silhouette with a chunky midsole automatically makes this one of the most comfortable Yeezys out there - it takes some getting used to though!

With such a casual silhouette, you really can't go wrong with the classic oversized and track pants combo. Pieces from Fear Of God ESSENTIALS and Yeezy work a treat.

This is a difficult one. Most of the shoe is made of Primeknit so I'd just use a conventional stain remover and brush. With the shark tooth-like midsole I would use a very fine brush and move lightly in a circular motion with warm, soapy water.

Like most Yeezys I own, I went a half a size up for a more comfortable fit. There’s enough room for a bit of movement so I can wear these all day long!

They are surprisingly comfortable. To be honest they don’t look it and I thought they’d just be for the flex, but I’ve been rocking mine on the regular since I picked them up.

I’ve actually been rocking mine with some dark stonewashed denim. I’m not a massive fan of Yeezys and jeans as I feel it never really works but these 450s are certainly an exception!

I try to avoid getting them dirty in the first place, but if these got mucky I’d probably check them in at the Jason Markk store for a deep clean next time I’m in London.

I tend to go half a size up in all my sneakers just to give my feet some breathing space, happy to say I didn’t go wrong with doing the same for the Yeezy 450, my feet don't feel too suffocated.

I style them with wide baggy joggers at home or when I need to nip to the shops really quick.

The upper is made from Primeknit so i use a soft sponge dipped into warm, soapy water. As for the midsoles, I use an old toothbrush dipped into water mixed with stain removal liquid. As with most sneaks , I don’t recommend putting them in the washing machine. I always say take care of your kicks the way you would take care of your kids.
