Yoon is no stranger to collabs, and her journey as a designer has seen her link up with BAPE, sacai and Gentle Monster to name a few. Nike is one of her most frequented collaborations though – she's teamed up with the Swoosh brand a number of times for some seriously sought-after sneakers. The latest style, the AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force sees Yoon dip into Nike’s incredible archive for inspiration, as the Air Adjust Force was originally released in 1996 and hasn’t yet seen a retro release since.
The popular 90’s silhouette was originally released as a basketball shoe but fits perfectly into the retro sports-turned-lifestyle trend we’re seeing today. The AMBUSH Air Adjust Force sees the original style receive a bit of an update, with Nike’s Grind Rubber outsoles adding a more sustainable element to the pair. The uppers look to be made from white leather with hints of black detailing and branding, and a removeable strap with more black and white Swoosh branding.
The “White” AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force are set to release alongside the “Black” pair later this year. If these are on your radar then be sure to keep it locked, and hit that purple button to be notified as soon as they drop!
