It's been about a quarter of a century since the Nike Air Max 2 Light first hit stores, and now, the legendary the shoe is back for good. Kicking of 2019 in style, the shoe features its original four-chambered Air Max unit, which was highly praised back in the day, but completely reworks the upper - and we're digging it.
Re-releasing in an eye-catching 'University Gold' colour palette, the shoe fits seamlessly into today's chunky sneaker trend, but leaves the retro design behind. Aggressively styled, the Air Max 2 Light is crafted from a slew of premium materials including luxe leather and supple suede, and is painted in an intense colour scheme that will turn heads for many years to come. Down below, a lightweight Phylon midsole and Duralon outsole complete the look, complete with Air bubbles for endless comfort.
Set to drop on January 11th from a wide range of stockists, you need the Nike Air Max 2 Light 'University Gold' in your collection. Let us know what you think of the retro-futuristic crep down in the comment section below! In related news, Nike is also reviving the OG Air Max Light from 1989!
