UNDERCOVER and Nike’s collaborative Gyakusou project has been around for what feels like forever now, offering up the pinnacle in fashion-forward performance gear dedicated to running. If you’re unfamiliar with the line, it’s basically running gear that’s been produced by none other than Jun Takahasi’s UNDERCOVER brand, easily one of the best Japanese streetwear labels on the market.
It’s been a while since the last launch from the project, therefore sneakerheads and hardcore runners are already excited regarding the unveiling of the UNDERCOVER Gyakusou x Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2 the latest collaborative sneaker between the two parties. The high-performance pair are decked out in a deep red shade and showcase plenty of high-spec features.

Crafted from lightweight technical mesh, the uppers of the sneakers are designed to be breathable and showcase translucent panels for a streamlined look. Traditional branding comes in the form of Nike Swoosh logos and Undercover Gyakusou branding in white. The pair fasten via a traditional lacing system and offer plenty of cushioning around the ankle and heels.
This all sits on top of a ZoomX midsole unit that’s also decked out in red and is designed to offer high-end cushioning and support on race-day runs. If you’re a runner that cares about how they look when they’re at it then these are absolutely for you!
