Wales Bonner x adidas Country Mesa Yellow

London-based fashion designer Wales Bonner reunites with adidas Originals for their Spring Summer 2022 collection featuring extensive apparel and footwear. The capsule is an ode to the ‘70s and ‘80s football zeitgeist, reinterpreted through luxury sportswear pieces that capture the designer’s signature European and Afro-Atlantic aesthetic. Set to be a highly anticipated drop, this Wales Bonner x adidas Country “Mesa Yellow” arrives in an earthy colour scheme inspired by the pitch and primed for the streets.

This cross-country trainer sports a light brown nylon base with yellow hairy suede overlays offering a premium texture. Yellow accents highlight the razor-edged leather 3-Stripes on the sides and Trefoil-adorned heel tab. Minimalist “Wales Bonner” branding decorates the lateral foxing, while co-branded labels adorn the tongue and sockliners. Blue and yellow laces form a contrasting two-tone combination. Dual-density EVA foam establishes the outsole, backed by a semi-translucent herringbone outsole. The shoe arrives in a white co-branded box with extra cream white laces.
