Skateboarding and Surf collective Always Do What You Should Do is linking up with adidas for another collaboration. After a successful first project on the skate-specific version of the Superstar, Always now takes up the mantle of the Country OG, a silhouette with its roots firmly set within the brand’s cross country running. Although the inspiration behind the Always x adidas Country remains unknown, the metallic purple make-up is more than enough to get excited about.
On this edition of the Country OG, the traditional white and green colour blocking is no more, instead choosing a range of metallic hues to breathe life into the retro runner. The Always Sun logo is debossed onto tongue, while a simple “always” can be found on the forefoot of the upper. Silver leather on the gutting and 3-Stripes also cement the metallic theme, with a set of shiny purple laces acting as the cherry on-top. The dual-density midsole ensures these provide a solid on-feet experience, while the dark gum outsole ties into the overall dark palette.
Similar to the previous Always x adidas Superstar ADV, we’ll be expecting special edition packaging and extra goodies inside. However you can stay tuned to the site for more information as and when it drops.
Little news surrounding the ADWYSD Country OG release date is currently available, you can find out where to buy the Always Do What You Should Do x adidas Country OG by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
