The low-top adidas Forum shoes showcase a design paying homage to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – a retired American basketball player who played the centre position for LA Lakers. While we have no doubts many aren't familiar with the name, it's safe to say he's still one of the most loved hoops icons that full-fledged Lakers fans would never forget.

The uppers are crafted from perforated fabric material to mimic a basketball jersey, with the retro panelling of the Forum Low present as ever. The panels indulge in shades of golden yellow and purple as a direct nod to LA Lakers' signature colours and the pair is rounded off with traditional adidas branding details and Kareem's player number 33 adorning the lateral heel.
