Famed for its Feet You Wear technology, the HAL Studios x adidas Intimidation Low “Core White Black” reimagines the late ‘90s basketball shoe with a retro-futuristic makeover. Inspired by flowing river systems, exoskeleton, and amphibian skin textures, this neutral-toned “Dolomite” colourway has been conceptualised by HSDT designer John Bouquet, who drew elements from biomorphism to elevate the Intimidation Low’s next-gen aesthetic while preserving its on-court compatibility.
This rendition flaunts a clean white mesh upper with a translucent RPU (rigid polyurethane) cage from front to back for added durability. A Badge of Sport symbol adorns the vamp, complementing the HSDT initials on the tongue and co-branding on the sockliner. The traditional lacing system and carbon fibre heel counter deliver a supportive fit, allowing you to lace these on for a pickup game or hours-long urban adventures. The plush adiPRENE+ midsole provides adequate comfort and shock absorption, while the unique Feet You Wear outsole incorporates a sturdy midfoot shank plate for a stable ride. While the newer generation may recognise the sculpted FYW sole from the Yeezy 500, this tooling originated in ‘99.
Set to release exclusively on the Hal Studios Design Thinking website, you can find out where to buy the HAL Studios x adidas Intimidation Low “Core White Black” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
