Palace x adidas Samba PUIG Black Silver Metallic

UK skateboard brand Palace are the purveyors of cool, constantly hitting the nail on the head with collaborations that capture the attention of both the skate and streetwear industry. This drop stitches together the adidas Samba and the PUIG, so that from football terrace to skate park, you’re always ready no matter what.

The high walls off of the PUIG’s cupsole is here, cloaked in a gum that nods to the Samba’s traditional features. Black and silver leather form the upper, metallic accents giving the shoe a contemporary feel while the suede toe on the front is grounded in tradition. The tongue strikes a balance between the PUIG and Samba’s features, fusing together the thin profile with ridged lines, only to slap a big Tri-Ferg logo over the top of it. On the rear, the PUIG’s outsole contours are still present, with the triangular groove painted in a marble-like effect that feeds into Palace’s triangular-based symbolism.
