Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Pony Leopard

Grace Wales Bonner takes centre stage with an elegant range of stunning adidas Samba colourways for her AW23 collection. From exotic to elegant, the collaboration is centred around off-pitch fashion statements, similar to what we got to experience on the Martine Rose x Nike drop earlier this year. Rewriting the script, this leopard print Samba is another example of the wonderful design language from Wales Bonner, redefining the usual Terrace themed toolkit yet again. Having already dropped a number of variants of the adidas Samba along with two takes of the SL72 for Spring/Summer 23, both Bonner and the 3-Stripes continue to raise the bar with this Autumn/Winter 23 collection. Undoubtedly the loudest out of the bunch, fans of Bonner's work will be swooping in for this adidas Samba rendition which flaunts a brown faux pony hair base filled with dark spots to mirror leopard skin. Meanwhile, cream white serrated 3-Stripes adorn the sides, while the leather heel tab boasts thick stitching for added prominence. Metallic gold lace holes deliver a premium touch to this tasty collaboration. The oversized fold-over tongue banners the co-branded labeling on a brown backdrop. A light blue hue engulfs the inner lining, contrasting the predominantly darker-toned colour palette. Grounded in a familiar DNA, the Samba’s signature rubber outsole is a nod to its archival roots, not to mention that you simply can't go wrong with a gum sole.
