C.P. Company x adidas Wimberly Spezial Tech Khaki

The adidas Spezial label concludes its 10th anniversary with a highly anticipated capsule in collaboration with C.P. Company. Each product in the collection inherits the design language of both powerhouse brands, merging old-school elements with autumnal colours to create a versatile makeover. Dropping alongside its “Off White” counterpart, the C.P. Company x adidas Wimberly Spezial “Tech Khaki” pays homage to a rare Canada-made version of the Universal trainer from the ‘80s, characterised by its distinct perforations.

Kitted entirely in suede, this archival shoe dons an earthy khaki tone throughout the upper, adorned with webbing 3-Stripes and zig-zag deco stitch. Co-branded logos animate the woven tongue tag and yellow leather back tabs, whilst all-over graphics animate the Ortholite sockliners as a nod to the rich heritage shared between the two labels. Incorporating a winning formula from the 3-Stripes’ best-selling terrace trainer, a lightweight gum sole anchors the base for low-to-the-ground comfort. To truly set this sneaker apart, the pair arrives in a bespoke shoe box with custom tissue paper and special-edition hangtags.
