SpongeBob SquarePants x adidas Superstar Patrick Star

The adidas Originals design team heads to Bikini Bottom for an exclusive SpongeBob SquarePants sneaker collaboration. As one of Nickelodeon’s most popular animated shows, the beloved yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea has cemented his position as an icon in pop culture, having appeared in various merchandise that fuels our childhood memories. Taking the spotlight in the collection is the SpongeBob SquarePants x adidas Superstar “Patrick Star”, a fitting tribute to the joyful starfish and SpongeBob’s best friend.

This remarkable colourway dons a muted pink suede upper with a cream tone on the midsole and rubber shell toe, achieving a vintage look. The stealthy black 3-Stripes surround the lateral and medial sidewalls, complementing the embroidered Superstar branding and the classic Trefoil logo. Patrick’s portrait animates the puffy tongue, while the SpongeBob SquarePants graphic animates the sockliner. The additional thick green laces display purple floral motifs as a nod to the character’s outfit. The blue semi-translucent outsole showcases multicoloured flower clouds inspired by Bikini Bottom’s clear skies.
